Here's a little bit about me... I was born in Montreal and presently reside in Laval, where I grew up and went to school until the end of high school. I have a little sister, Andrea, who is 18 years old and my best friend. I recently confirmed my godchild Amanda this summer. I love her and she is like a little sister to me. I am 23 years old and am currently enrolled at McGill University. I am in my last semester, graduating with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Education. Before McGill, I attended Vanier College and graduated with honours from the Commerce program. After this semester, I plan to complete a Masters degree at Concordia University in Teaching College Mathematics and substituting in a high school while completing my degree. My long term objective is to become a college math teacher and to inspire my students in every way I can. Mathematics is my passion and I cannot see myself studying or teaching any other subject. For the past few years I have worked as a high school math tutor during my semesters and an accounting clerk during my summers. My satisfaction comes from seeing my students succeed in math and changing their attitudes toward the subject. When I am not studying or working I love to practice singing and exercise every chance I get. I take advantage of my time with my family, friends, and boyfriend as much as possible. I think that surrounding yourself with the people you love is one of the best ways to find happiness and enjoy life. |
